A new high for A Chorus Line!!!! Yeah!!!!! And it falls just short of being completely sold-out(9 seats).

Producers keeps dropping. YIKES!!!

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

"The Producers" will not continue for much longer, in my opinion, if they don't even last through the first half of 2007, I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm surprised Little Dog Laughed didn't do that well, I thought it had transferred with good word of mouth.
It's great to see Grey Gardens is in the 80s percent, does anyone know what's its weekly cost?

Is there somewhere where information about off broadway grosses can be found?

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Just remember, Producers is still doing well - it's gotten so much money back that they can afford 5 or 6 down weeks.

Little Dog had a total of 6 performances. Give it time.

I hope Little Dog Laughed does better...
... though the chances of it lasting through until next summer are slim anyway, so I don't know why I hope so much.

Off-Broadway grosses are not reported anywhere.

Wow. Grey Gardens. I don't know the running costs, but the 80s are a good percentile.
It would be really neat if The Producers closed by wintertime and Curtains opened at the St. James in the spring. It seems like a good fit since the St. James is the ultimate musical comedy house.

When I was waiting last Friday to get into Les Miz, one of the crew was outside the stage door and was talking about "The Producers". It's a done deal. It's closing in January and Young Frankenstein is coming in. I questioned him because it's been so far just a rumor but he said he knew someone working for the show and it is definitely going to close in January.

Jay Johnson is on life support. I give it a few more weeks at most

Is it just me or does it seem like LES MIS should have higher numbers?

Les Mis only had 7 performances last week. Plus the Broadhurst only seat 1,186 (unlike its former home the Imperial which seats 1,421).

If the house is smaller for Les Mis, shouldn't it have an easier time of filling it up?

Times...Changing seems to be the most surprising, no? 93% I thought word of mouth for that show was supposed to be horrible. Surprised they managed to get that many people thru the door.

I don't think tourists know aobut the show. They think "Dylan and Twayla Thrap, that should be good." And they buy a ticket.

Word of mouth is horrible.

But it's selling well. I wouldn't write it off so quickly.

I think that once everyone in The Times . . .'s friends and family see it, the numbers will go down

I'm not wishing Grey Gardens ill, but I just want to point out that the Walter Kerr only seats 822 people, so 82.2% of that isn't boffo business. Their gross was a little over $400,000, which I bet is pretty close to their breakeven.

Depending on the production, the Kerr seats over 900. For Grey Gardens, it appears to be 922. Maybe that's what you meant.

When The Producers closes, they're going to give much more advance warning than a few months. Even The Wedding Singer got 2+ months notice. Larry, maybe your crew member source's friend is just getting fired in January.

baby, if were just friends and family members at Times... the numbers would be much lower, since they'd all be comps.

I don't know about anyone else, but I had no intention of seeing the Bob Dylan show UNTIL I read those reviews! I had been hearing bits and pieces about how odd it was, but after reading a couple of major reviews I realized I'd be crazy to miss seeing this before it goes away. Surely a portion of their business this week also came from people who just love a good flop or couldn't resist the novelty value.

I normally post on the West End board but just wanted to say, is the guy who said Producers closes in Jan getting confused with the London production that closes in January?! just a thought
