Again, re: the bomb scare - just because many theaters were not full doesn't mean the tickets weren't sold. I work for a Broadway show, and I know for a fact that the attendance at Saturday night's performance was about 1/3 of the tickets sold (aka the number reported for the grosses). The numbers for Saturday night would have looked relatively normal. I'm sure there were a few refunds, but I also know that most patrons were encouraged to switch their tickets for a different date, which means they would still be reported in this week's grosses as that's when the money came in.

bomb scare? how many "day of" tix do you think people buy? People buy their tix way in advance. No one knew about the bomb scare for real until the next day. GImme a break with this "bomb scare" stuff making tix prices drop.

What would you guys suggest:

I wanted to do roughly Oct 10th/11th ish to NY and wanted to see HAIR. Would you suggest waiting until then to see HAIR (do you think it would still be running) or should I plan to go earlier, in say late June, early July? What do you think is the best bet?

Thanks!

I cannot see HAIR closing in NY before London. And that may close early if you listen to the goss. But the US cast are there until October 10. (other than Will) If you want to be super safe go earlier.

The BroadwaySpotted twitter is saying people should support the show now, as if they are hinting a closing is imminent. Should we take that seriously or are they just stirring up rumors?

I think it would be a mistake to not at least give the show a shot to improve it's numbers through June. I'd assume they could bump up to the mid 60's to low 70's, which should be enough?
