So happy to see Eclipsed go out well, and a bump for The Humans!! Really praying Fun Home picks up, but sadly I don't think that'll happen.

PThespian said: "Every theater that I've worked at holds accessible seating until 24 hours prior to curtain at which point it goes onsale to the general public. "

Hmm, so that's not it. How/why does Hamilton capacity vary than? I would indeed expect it to be at their maximum every night...

Standing room positions not sold to the public but given to friends yet not as official comps to not drag down the average? Like when a new show doesn't sell some standing room for production personnel to use.

Well, look at Bright Star in its penultimate week - jumping from 2nd-lowest grossing musical to 4th-lowest grossing musical (even beating [for a week, at least] real successes stories like ChicagoJersey Boys, and Fun Home)!

Of course, it was beat by the straight play The Humans, playing in Broadway's smallest house...

But anyway - maybe it actually made its expenses this week, and Martin and Simon can save $100k! (Maybe $50k?)
