Not just The Lion King, also Mary Poppins is doing well lately. If I remember it well just over a year ago it was regularly under 70%
"Yeah, and it's pulling $275K in July/August. Even if the nut is $225 (I'd figure it has to be at least $250, but whatever), that still may be too high come the fall."
For one their weekly running cost is $230k according to the New York Times, and since they recouped having a few off weeks is fine. Anyway, most of the audience are older people excluding the fans so I don't think they will go away.

It looks like 'Mary Poppins' has been spending $$$$ on TV commercials and all kinds of ads; guess it's paying off for them.
Wayman (or anyone else), any word on what kind of bump ALNM is getting now that the reviews are out?

In general, MARY POPPINS has really revamped its ad campaign in the past year, changing the logo, being more specific with its target audience. This is just noting from general observation, and I am quite glad they did it. Things really seemed to have picked up!
