As an educated guess, would a musical the size of Finding Neverland still be profitable or at least at break even with a $800k weekly profit?

maybe Amazing Grace is waiting until the Christmas period ? They could be hoping for a religious audience boost then?

Yes to your first question. Kinky Boots is still profitable, as far as I know.

Secondly, you do realize that Amazing Grace is still spending money every week, probably upwards of 500k. So it's not like they can just sit around and wait for the audience to come. Money runs out eventually. I don't think the theater owners/landlords will let them do this until Christmas either.

October 4 had been posted as a rumored closing for AG on this site and a few others.
