This year's Tony Award for best musical. A host of other awards before that. Hailed and hyped to the max by the critics and the media monolith. "Breathtaking!" "Game-changing!" "Ground-breaking!" A masterpiece like no other.

Now, not even three months after the Tony Awards: 143 unsold seats last week; 61 the previous week.

I wonder why.

You do?! Maybe because the tourist season just ended and most shows took a dive starting two weeks ago... even the consistently sold out shows maintained their attendance but reduced their weekly takes. Not sure why you're pronouncing the show doomed when the same two weeks you picked were at 99% and 97.6% of capacity, respectively, with it pulling in $700K+ both weeks.

When did you start using ticket sales as a barometer of what is good? Silly. No one ever thought FH would do as well as it has. And you are a charter member of the naysayers'  club.

South Fl Marc said: "And the bad news is that every single one of them is a revival. The worst news is that "Sylvia" stars that extremely untalented, walking dead imitator Matthew Broderick.

Im confused to why someone who hates an actor so much would continue to go see every one of his plays or it would appear so anyway.  I know I wouldn't if I felt that strongly about a particular actor.

Carole King should visit the Today Show more often.  What a spike in sales.

Carole's appearance on the 9/9 10am hour was taped a few weeks back when she performed on the plaza.
