Yes, bullying in any form, including cyber-bullying, which is quite real and damaging, is regrettable.

Why is it you feel the need to use the qualifer "real"? Is there a form of bullying that you don't consider "real"?

Hi ghostlight2, I use "real" to distinguish against the cyber nastiness that I've been subjected to since I started posting.

How my little thread about my friend giving up Sondheim for lent warrants over a hundred angry responses from the same Zeb Atlas admirer, I'll never understand.

How that same person starts a thread titled with my username to tell lies about my PM'ing him and such(show me one of those PMs) is certainly unpleasant, but not the same level of real bullying the IT GETS BETTER campaign is addressing.

Hope that clears things up.

I'm sure this has been posted before, but I love it:

No, ZebLuv, it doesn't. It doesn't explain, for example, why a poster who has been here for many years, who has never started threads about anyone else before, would just arbitrarily decide to start one about you.

And also interesting that you start this thread without mentioning how grieviously you've been wronged, even though you basically admit you started it because of your "harassment".

Lastly, how very odd that your (new) username includes part of the screen name of the poster that you so coyly accuse of harassing you. Isn't that a remarkable coincidence?

You'd have to ask that old time poster why he has chosen to attack me. Perhaps my avatar excites him. The hundred plus responses to my thread proclaiming his love for Zeb Atlas suggests such an obession.

I started this thread without mentioning the attacks against me because I don't have paranoid or self-pitying feelings about them. My "admission," as you call it, was only in answer to your question. A point of clarification. Nothing more. Nothing less.

The jay in my username has no connection with the old time user whose paranoid mind has skewed those three innocent letters to somehow mean a personal attack. I imagine if that old time poster got a "jay"-walking ticket he'd have a nervous breakdown proclaiming that the entire police force was against him.

The "jay" in my username has a personal meaning to me, just as the "zeb" does.

I see. So this long time poster of good standing has suddenly become as paranoid as your "friend" in the "Giving up Sondheim" thread? Does that happen around you a lot, then?

No wait, don't answer that. Nobody's buying it. I'm pretty sure everyone has your number by now. I think this, and the rest of your threads, should just die a quiet death.

Well if I include your strained accusations - yes, I do seem to have an unusual number of paranoid people around me these days.

With messages of hope from the IT GETS BETTER campaign to encourages me, I take all the nonsense around me in stride.

Thanks Phyllis. Her message can't be heard enough.
		     			Unlike yours.

Now..now..cyber bullying is tacky.

This message of hope should cleanse hateful atmosphere in this thread.
