I think Harvey Fierstein could honestly be considered a Broadway legend. Think about how many Tonys he has and for so many different things...
Patti LuPone could maybe be classified as a Broadway legend...And I think Audra McDonald's tony awards are getting her there although she really isnt old enough yet.
Maybe even Phylicia Rashad...she's a legend at least.

That made me cry. So now I'm off to bed sad.

Yes Priest. Very sad about Orbach. A great performer. Don't go to bed sad --- "Try To Remember..."

Posted: 1/3/05 at 1:32amAre we considering living legends the people who are still at the top of their game today or those who left a lasting impression when they WERE at the top of their game? For example, Audrey Hepburn = Legend. Michael Jackson = Someone who would have been a legend during his reign if not for the way he fell from grace afterwards.
