A great summary of the challenges (and plans!) for Broadway to safely re-open. I do think vaccines should be mandated, and on the backstage side, I can't believe that anyone out of work for this long would refuse to get one to go back to work.

The producer saying there are Broadway actors who don’t want to get vaccinated just enrages me. You’ve been out of work with your entire industry shuttered for over a year and you’re still gonna be anti-vacation? Idiots.

There should absolutely be a vaccination requirement for audiences and workers. If there was a national passport system (like Excelsior) in place already, it wouldn’t even be a question. They would have announced that as part of going back on sale.

I’d welcome a vaccination requirement. Even hoping we may be able to take our masks off if we show proof of vaccine, given Dr. Fauci’s thoughts on indoor mask requirements lifting gradually? Fully expecting both precautions in place, though I know CDC recs can change between now and September. Thoughts?
