Isn't it usually the Sunday after Labor Day? If so, that would make it Sunday Sep 13.
Broadway on Broadway is, usually, the week before Flea Market. Flea Market is on September 27 so Broadway on Broadway would be September 20
Thanks guys. I kinda figured it was either the 13th or the 20th. If anyone knows for sure, please post :)
I read somewhere that this was on September 13th but I cant find anywhere about what time it starts. Does anyone know when it starts and usually how long it goes for? I am going to be in the city to see Bye Bye Birdie at 2 so I would love to come in early and catch this since I never been. Thanks!

It's the 13th at 11:30 am. I was also curious how long does it normally last? And, for those who've been before, how early do you have to get there to get a decent spot?
I've never been in the city for this before
What is it like? Absolutely crazy?

It's kind of insane. If you want a good spot, plan on being in line by 5 or 6 am.
It was about 2 hours or so last year, if I can recall. Lots of fun, looking forward to it this year. I wonder who is hosting...the past few years they've gotten some of the more "hollywood" actors who were on broadway at the time to host. Last year was Drew Lachey...
Thanks so much for the info! I don't know if I can get there that early but I hope that I can hear or see at least some of it when I get there
5 or 6 am?! Whoa that is pretty insane...
If I get there at like nine will I be remotely close? haha

Honestly? Probably not. I went for about 5 years in a row, and never got there later that about 6am and there was already a huge line.
You don't have to be in the front to see & hear.
It depends how close you want to be, 6Am is a bit early for me.
I've gone the past two years, and they did it differently each time. Both years I showed up around 8am, the first year they did that dress up line, and I got in the front through that. The second year (last year), it was kind of a free for all, I lucked out on the west side near the barricades on 45th I think. The trick is to figure out how they are going to fill the middle front section.
