Which do you look forward to more, "Broadway On Broadway" or "Broadway in Bryant Park"? Here's the plus and minuses of each. "Broadway On Broadway" at Times Square has the current stars; no understudies. Only 1 song is performed while "Bryant Park" usually has 3 selections. At "Bryant Park" chairs are provided and if you come early, you can see the performances twice. At Times Square, you must get there extremely early to get a good spot otherwise you'll have to view on the large screen. "Bryant Park" is more informal and friendly and if you can't make-it, you can attend the following week. At Times Square, it's a 1 day deal. If you can't attend, that's it. What did I leave out? Personally, I prefer the "Bryant Park" performances as I hate crowds, too much security and traffic lights and other objects blocking the view at Times Square.

I work, and would rush over to Bryant Park on Thursday during lunch break to catch BW in BP so I never had a fantastic seat. The sound was horrible! I loved that it was there each week entertaining my lunch hour, but at some points I couldn't hear anything vocally. Despite that, I'm not exactly complaining because the price was right!

As for BW on BW... I think I will go this Sunday, although its my only free day open to properly wait for Hair tickets, so I may have to skip it this year to do that.

I'd rather be reckless than rockless.

I haven't been to either of the unfortunately. I am normally at camp. But I would rather go to Broadway in Bryant Park. It's smaller, you see more performances from each show, it's shorter. And you sometime get to see understudies which could be great (Janet as Nina in ITH this year)

I'm gonna be in NYC to meet some friends and see Wicked so I will probably check out Broadway on Broadway. I never heard of it before last year.

Don't believe everything that you hear! Only the peeps involved know the truth!
