Lindsay Mendez to replace Willemijn Verkaik as Elphaba in WICKED?

The current Elphaba understudy on the 2NT is 6 foot tall and by no means is tiny girl. I think Lindsay will be fine. Doesn't matter to me what she looks like. As long as she can sing without doing too much crazy riffing she will be ok.

"If Melissa O'Neil, who will play Eponine in the Toronto revival, gets good reviews I'd like to see her play the role in the Broadway revival." Is this the same Melissa O'Neil that won Canadian Idol? I would love to see Donna Vivino cast as Fantine after playing Young Cosette in the OBC. Would love to see Kristine Reese as Cosette also.

Who am I trying to build up? I only saw Elena and Christina in the role. I "heard" Jessica and thought she sounded better on the high stuff. I have no friends or family in the show nor am I a huge fan of anyone but Rachel Potter...whom IMO steals the show with her 4 minute song.

Would you like me to show you my ticket Anthony Mouse? I don't have any ulterior motive but it seems you do. I know what I heard. Christina was struggling. That being said she was A LOT better to watch and hear over Elena who made me cringe everytime she opened her mouth.

I saw Chrisina and she struggled to hit them. The only one that didn't struggle was Jessica Lea Patty. Not sure what Laurel Harris sounds like.

Stage door at the Pantages is very orderly. They have a barricade up. It's in a gated area too. Best way to get out there is use the doors to the far right(left if you are leaving the theatre). They take you right to them. After Wicked I just got outside when Katie Rose came running down the ramp to sign.

Wicked Partial View seats question

Would you guys suggest row K seats 29 and 31 over, say, row F? Which side is better - house left or house right? Thank you! If it's their first time seeing it I would say row K is a better option. I prefer sitting on the right side(even numbers) as the stairs on the stage on the left side can be annoying at times.

"Oh give me a freaking break. No one brought a pizza into WICKED. That is totally ridiculous. You just want to hear yourself talk." Actually someone did bring a pizza into Wicked. Cast members had facebook statuses about it when it happened.

Wicked 2NT in Pittsburgh on Sept 24,2011 evening show. During One Short Day Anne Brummel ran back to do the costume change and Christine Dwyer ran on. Never saw one before then and never want to see one again.

Worst Chemistry

Dee Roscioli and Amanda Jane Cooper in Wicked on the 1NT. Just terrible chemistry but it might have been because Amanda Jane Cooper was an awful Glinda.

"This was my first time seeing Evita and I had no idea the Mistress is actually only in one scene. Rachel did a great job, though. They couldn't have put her in the ensemble for anything?" Rachel IS in the ensemble after she sings her song as the Mistress. She is hard to find though throughout scenes. Look at your Playbill as you will see she is listed as Mistress/ensemble.

Leaving Evita at intermission

"I understood Elena perfectly and thought she was great. I think people have the Patti recording emblazoned into their brains." I didn't understand a word that Elena was saying either and I NEVER heard Patti's version. Lisa Brescia yes but Patti no. I would never walk out of a show since I work my ass of for my money. And I enjoyed the company I was with when I saw Elena.
