It was hosted by Laura Osnes the other night. Did anyone go to this? If so, how was it?

It was everything I hoped it would be.  I was already planning on flying in from Chicago to see Mamma Mia one more time before it closed and once I saw the actresses performing I book my flight for last weekend.  Some of the highlights were Caissie Levy's rendition of Let it Go/Let it Be, Laura Osnes's Cinderella Mashup and Laurie Veldheer singing For the First Time in Forever.  You can find a lot of the performances on youtube.  All of the performances were excellent, there were a couple of funny male cameos and they also had a trivia contest for princess gummies signed by some of the performers.  I got one of the question right and got Alison Luff and Laura Osnes signed gummies, the two people I was most eager to see.  A great night overall.

I am so, so jealous - so many of my favorites in one room, such talent. I wanted to go so badly. I will be YouTubing all of the performances tomorrow!

Oh my God, Thumbelina? You can hear Disney songs all the time but that won me over completely.

I watched that movie soooo many times. "Let Me Be Your Wings" was a song that I thought I would never hear again, but Laura and Adam Jacobs sang it and it was lovely (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFyNGISiu48)

I really wanted to attend this, but I couldn't find anyone to go with in time so I purchased tickets for November's OUR GUY CY instead. See you in 2.5 months, 54 Below!

I've been watching the videos - so damn good. I wish we could start a Kickstarer campaign for an album, haha. 

 

Alison Luff singing "Journey to the Past"... good Lord. Can she just please play Anastasia in the upcoming musical?

 

Ruthie Ann Miles singing "Reflection" is giving me LIFE.

I saw laura comment somewhere, I think maybe on instagram that they'll have to do it again, and it was such a success that I don't doubt at all that there will be a part two somewhere down the road.
