This underappreciated musical flop closed with less than 2 weeks of performances. It had opened within two weeks of a musical hit boasting the emergence of a new star introducing a popular standard.

DVD has it correct.

ANYONE CAN WHISTLE opened 4/4/64, and ran only 9 performances.

FUNNY GIRL opened less than 2 weeks earlier on 3/26/64. The rest became entertainment history.

I normally try to allow 24 hours before posting the answers in order to allow as many members as possible to respond if they choose. We have some very savy members.
