Definitely would see it if I were on the other Coast. The Victoria and Albert Museum in London has a costume collection. I'm not sure that the entire collection is highlighted here, but very interesting. Of those shown, I'm most drawn to the one for Fred Astaire.

The Museum of the City of Nrw York also has an extensive collection of Bwy costumes.

Has anyone been yet? Have a whirlwind 48 hour/3 show trip in 2 weeks and would love to fit this in. Curious as to how much time I should expect to spend at it if I go (like, can I enter at 5, see everything, and get to the Walter Kerr in time for 7:30 curtain?)

Just went tonight with a friend. If you work in the industry, it may not be super exciting. It’s definitely not a huge selection of costumes, and the main attraction for me was the costume houses who are very generous with their time to talk to you and do demonstrations. The was half the fun, and the majority of the time spent there. I would say it definitely mostly appeals to theatre lovers who are not too deeply involved with the making of theatre.
