How do you get your albums to stay up there? I did the same thing and mine keep falling down! (Specifically Hello Dolly, The Sound of Music, and Camelot!)

I guess I should've titled this more along the lines of: Broadway or Play Collections. I didn't actually mean that people walk into their room and sit down and pray.

Um, obviously. I didn't think you actually meant you thought people pray at literal shrnes. My post was a joke. I'd be scared if you thought I was serious. Yikes.

When I was 11 or 12 my brother and I used to color in the full page B'way show advertisements from the New York Times Arts & Liesure section and hang them on our bedroom wall. Yeah, we're both gay...

The only other thing I've had that might come close to a "shrine" to a Broadway show would be filing cabinets full of contracts, correspondence, invoices, artwork, tear sheats, P&L statements, and press clippings... oh, and that stack of Playbills I never look at anymore that just gets more tattered everytime I move it... hmmm... maybe it's time to move them to eBay?

Not a shrine to a particular show, but to one NYC Trip. The two pictures on the bottom right are of Me and Tonya Pinkins and me and Capathia Jenkins and Aisha de Haas.

Mateo,

Awesome Tree! And I'm not even a big Hairspray fan!

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
