You'll see above, Jane2, I said I don't begrudge people their thing or their paycheck. I understand reality, too, and that people have to make money and eat.

Live theatre is my bag, that's why I post on this website.

I was dismayed when he went off to soap opera, I hope to be happy to see him back onstage. I also want him to do well and prosper!

Well, that wasn't really my point Nom. I was only pointing out that a person can enjoy watching a soap as well as live theater.

Wow, thanks Esther.

"Tell that to Sutton Foster.

Some theatre actors thrive to be great theatre actors."

Guess you missed one of her more recent interviews where she said film and tv have finally piqued her interest and she's looking forward to auditioning for such things when she leaves Drowsy Chaperone.

Ralph Fiennes includes both film and theatre in his career.

He also seems to pick out interesting work.

Spill the beans, Craig.

Come on, is it Catch Me If You Can, The Princess Bride or the untitled Patty Griffin musical in development at The Atlantic Theatre?

You and Rob are leaving us all up in the air like the Soccer Ball in the Piazza!

I read somewhere that John Houseman told his acting students at Juliard that they should ONLY do the classics....

Unless they offer you a ton of money to do something else...
