Broadway Songs About Being 16

My sweet 16 is in a few months and I need songs about turning 16, being a teenager, growing up, or something like that. I've already come up with "How Lovely to Be a Woman". Anything else you can think of?

I see where you're coming from, but I was thinking that a sweet 16 is more about 15 going into 16. Plus, that's a kind of cliche song. Thanks for the suggestion, though. (And sorry if my last post came off a little bitchy.)

it didn't come off that way. does it have to be a broadway song? i love the one i gave you by Ringo Starr for personal reasons...but there are others that would be appropriate for a sweet 16.

Well, if you are throwing out "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" because you think it's about turning seventeen then throw out "How Lovely to Be a Woman" since the song lyrics are about going from fourteen to fifteen.

I've heard versions of "How Lovely to Be a Woman" that are 15 to 16. The lyric change is minor, whereas "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" is iconic and can't be tampered with.

hmmm. what about "Blue Hair" it doesn't say 16, but it screams teen!
