I met Jimmy Smits last night after he did a reading at Borders in the Time Warner Bldg. I got a photo with him too. He was so nice, so handsome and so tall.
My photo albums are rediculous....but I mostly just stick around to see people...more interested in that. LOL which I guess sounds weird...
But Im rediculous...at school I just SPOT people. Whats random is that we usually end up becoming quite good friends so I've had to tone down my stalker tendencies..because I dont have to stalk anymore lol I can just HANG out with them.
But If I see someone on the street, I always ALWAYS say something. I think you should never let that moment pass you by.
But Im rediculous...when there's someone I LOVE...I cry, I get absolutely disgustingly ill....I shake.
When Marc Kudisch came out after MILLIE....I thought I would faint, and he ended up telling me to hug him because I was shaking so bad, my response? "I dont want to throw up on you"
his reply "Awwww come on"....ahhh what a night.
I used to be backstage visiting a friend @ INTO THE WOODS quite a bit but never could quite tell Chris Seiber how IN LOVE with him I was ....which Im sure suits him and his partner just fine.
When I tried...TRIED to meet Alan Cumming before CABARET years and years ago, my throat froze as he got out of his car...it was AWFUL...we just looked at eachother and he went inside and I couldnt say anything....the good news?
We met the other night when he was in Philly accepting an award..it was INCREDIBLE and I was FINE! Amazing what 5 YEARS can do!
I've openly cried WITH Marin Mazzie when I told her she inspired me to go to college...she got all teared up and touched my face and I just about hemridged. She's a lovely lovely inspiring woman.
Raul Esparza is really genuine if you catch him alone...we chatted for about a half an hour after a matinee of CABARET.
Terrence Mann and I bumped into eachother after I lost my wallet outside circle in the square. And he did a little "chauvlin" for moi!
Daphne Rubin Vega is as generous as they come.
Asa Somers....looooove you.
The cast of ROCKY HORROR was always good times if you weren't too stalker-ish.
OK now im starting to sound creepy....
I've been very blessed with a gift for Broadway Star Hunting.
Hopefully you'll all see my CABARET ACT about it one day.

"If you don't like it, don't read it. Wow....simple as that. Some people enjoy finding out who's met who. I don't think it's as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. After all, this is a Broadway fan site.....just because you don't seem to find this one aspect of being a fan exciting doesn't mean someone else might find meeting a star to be the best thing ever."
I'm more amused than anything else. I can understand if everyone posted a person or two who they had a really nice and INTERESTING experience meeting... but to list a bunch of names just to have a 'longer' list, in my opinion, is quite amusing. I mean, people are even starting to throw out names of chorus members (who very well may be more talented than some "stars", but they still aren't at that level)... I thought the thread was titled Broadway STARS? Grasping much?

Mary Testa and Ron Palillo did a reading of one of my plays. I got to hang out with them a little afterwards. They were both incredibly nice people!

Thank you...I love picture/autograph/conversation. Or even better, LONG conversation.
