Broadway Theatre; too close?

My apologies in advance if this is a silly question!

From what I understand, The Broadway Theatre has an extremely high stage, so those sitting in the front rows of the orchestra have a hard time seeing the entire show. For those of you who have seen shows here, how far back in the orchestra would you recommend for better viewing? I have no frame of reference at all and I'm trying to decide between a few different ticket options.

Thank you!

Usually starting a few rows back you start to get a better view, so maybe the fifth or sixth row.

Saw Cinderella, Shrek, Promises Promises, and Sister Act from front mezzanine A14,16. These seats always serve me well and are typically available for whatever discounts may be available through BroadwayBox.com.

Saw Cinderella, Shrek, Promises Promises, and Sister Act from front mezzanine A14,16.

Before I started reviewing, as close to center of the front row of the mezzanine was always my absolute favorite seats. PERFECT VIEWS! As a reviewer, I get a lot of Orchestra level seats (usually between rows H and R in our big barn in Houston). I find H is typically PERFECT as well! R is good, but a bit far from the stage.

I saw Cinderella and Sister Act from both first and second row orchestra. The view is wonderful and you will appreciate being able to see the costumes and sets in such detail. I believe center second row is premium while first is not so considering the price difference, first row would be my choice if I were to see Cinderella again. Yes, the stage is high and if you are shorter than 5'8" or so, a row or two back may be safer--but perhaps more expensive.

I saw the show recently. The stage seemed to be above the heads of the first row. I would avoid it unless you're really tall. I would say 4th row is safe bet for pretty much any theater.

Different people have different feelings about seating, but I personally find the front row of the mezz at the Broadway to be a bit higher than at many other theaters. I think it feels farther away from the stage than front row of the mezz usually does.

Saw Cinderella fifth row and it was amazing!! You were close up but not in a bad way. Didn't even have to look up at all...
