Popcorn at Dog Day Afternoon - New Normal? Apr 8 2026, 10:06:24 AM
ATG probably sells the popcorn in a champagne flute for $35 so that makes it okay. Pinky up you slobs.

BECKY SHAW Previews Apr 4 2026, 06:42:34 PM
I should have grabbed tix when they were on TDF but really wanted to be as close as possible without having to hurt my neck. I ended up going with side orchestra G for $112 using the IamBecky discount code. Looking forward to this.

We were mid Orchestra, the furthest two seats in Row L house right. We may have missed some elements of some entrances and exits, but there was certainly nothing going on that we heard but did not see.
(Leg room is not to be found in that theatre no matter what you pay, so an aisle seat would have been nice.)
Thank you!

Thank you Steve! Great websites that are super helpful. Love the little pink preview tab that appears on each show's pic if the show is in previews. Very thoughtful.

Lead Actress in a Play 2026 Apr 2 2026, 09:14:15 AM
Sauja: …my top 3 are Manville, Metcalf, and Flood.
For me Flood was so much more memorable in The Counter vs. Liberation. I love her and will be happy if she is nominated.

Lead Actress in a Play 2026 Apr 2 2026, 07:48:17 AM
TexanAddams: Am I the only one really surprised Lesley is like the far away favorite here? Yea she was great but I certainly don't this she was on another level than Coon. I still go back and forth on who I'd vote for but I think I'd lean Coon.
I agree. As time passes, Coon’s performance has stayed with me more. Really looking forward to taking in the stiff competition over at Fallen Angels.

I would have preferred a Bette Midler jukebox musical.

Maltby & Shire revue Apr 1 2026, 08:10:15 PM
I am on cloud nine again after visiting this remarkable show yesterday. Easy rush at 5:30. Darius and Lynne brought me to tears again. Sally Wilfert had me in stitches during Lunch with Linda. Just glorious voices and the little theater is such a gem; intimate, comfortable and right down the block from Lincoln Center. A must see if you admire story songs, smart lyrics and glorious music that you will want to hear again. Can't wait for the cast recording, Manhattan

Monte Cristo Musical to premiere at Off-Broadway's York Theatre Spring 2026 Mar 31 2026, 11:33:12 PM
I am surprised that no one else has commented on Monte Cristo. I finally got to it today and had a wonderful time. I thought that this was quite strong and look forward to hearing the score again. Many character driven songs and a solid mix of duets. All the voices, performances and orchestra were splendid. The costumes were superb as well. It was such a treat. Highly recommended.

BEACHES Previews Mar 31 2026, 02:12:36 AM
The show started at 7:35 and the kids (alone)were still on at 8:05 so I knew I was in for a long night. I found the kids to be overbearing and hated whenever they came on. The jokes didn’t work for me and the music is completely forgettable.
The repetitive use of signs is overdone but without much else to go on I was trying to like the scenery. The beach looked nice. It definitely felt like a regional production. I felt bad for Vosk and Barrett because they are both g

THE FEAR OF 13 Previews Mar 27 2026, 10:07:25 AM
Thank you InTheBathroom1 for your review and especially the direct address / narration details. This will keep me far, far away. I can watch documentaries from the comfort of my couch. It’s hard for me to feel anything with someone talking at me. Sorry to miss Tessa.

Gotta Dance! - American Dance Machine Mar 26 2026, 08:50:45 PM
This feels and looks great at Stage 42. I think it was my first visit to this wonderfully comfortable little theater!
I cannot rave enough about Jessica Lee Goldyn who was literally on fire yesterday. They replaced I’m a Brass Band from Sweet Charity with City Lights from The Act and it was a showstopper with a capital S. That final lift in the encore had me mesmerized as I have never seen this number before. The red sparkly suit Jessica

Audience Rewards ticket locations Mar 24 2026, 09:23:11 PM
Wanderful: Has anyone had luck past/post dating Audience Rewards redemptions? I have tickets for Stranger Things that I would rather not sell and forfeit the points, but not sure what general experience might have been and I've a feeling BroadwayDirect will just tell me I have to work with AR.
I past dated Hadestown (ATG) tickets purchased through Audience Rewards.
Broadway Direct (Nederlander) states that:
All tickets (including rush, lottery, TKTS, and TDF tickets) that have never been scanned or that were scanned out at the theatre are eligible for past dating. The only tickets that are not eligible for past dating are complimentary tickets. These tickets are labeled with the word "comp" and have the ticket price listed as $0.00
