Law & Order: SVU - Stage to Screen Marathon 6/7

I know we are all watching the Tonys on Sunday but just a heads up on this. The USA Network has curated a "Stage to Screen" marathon of Law & Order: SVU episodes where the cast contains many stage actors. For example, at 10am "Night" stars Alfred Molina, Bradley Cooper, Angela Lansbury, Bebe Neuwirth and Rita Moreno. I am scheduling my DVR.  The marathon runs on USA from 10am -11pm on Sunday 6/7.

Final Tony Predictions in All Categories

Name your one unanticipated sneak-in for a win.

Kelli O’Hara for Lead Actress in a play.

Two questions regarding Cynthia Erivo

If Erivo isn’t available I’d like to see Micaela Diamond as Fosca.

Two questions regarding Cynthia Erivo

I’ll buy tickets for Passion regardless of cast announcements.

Beth Leavel in Hello, Dolly! at Ogunquit Playhouse

IMITATION OF LIFE at The Shed (John Legend & Lynn Nottage)

Are Adrienne Warren and Dee Roscioli still attached to this? Any new casting?

Beth Leavel in Hello, Dolly! at Ogunquit Playhouse

This cast!!! I died and went to heaven. And Adam Heller as Vandergelder. He is my favorite Tevye.

Sweaty Oracle: The Conspiracy to Buy Broadway?

And the wretched yelling like a wounded animal. Out.

Beth Leavel in Hello, Dolly! at Ogunquit Playhouse

DaveyG: Oh, how I adore her. She's given me so many unforgettable nights in the theatre - Drowsy, The Prom, her "Ladies Who Lunch" in Old Friends, and so many more...

Wholeheartedly agree.  Plus I would add that her Miss Hannigan at Papermill was an absolute delight. And I loved her as the Baroness in Lempicka.

Beth Leavel in Hello, Dolly! at Ogunquit Playhouse

I am so thrilled with this news. I love Beth Leavel and bought my tickets a while ago so this is such a gift. Can’t wait. She’s going to kill it.

Heather Headley at Carnegie Hall

Jordan Catalano: …She’s just always going to be my number one

I can relate. I always think of a blanket when I hear her. I just find her that comforting and secure.

Heather Headley at Carnegie Hall

I could not make Heather’s show at Carnegie Hall earlier this month but based on this clip I would love to see her in a future Sunset Boulevard revival.

RIP to Jeffrey Lane, bookwriter of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS and WOMEN ON THE VERGE

I had no idea that Mr. Lane wrote for so many TV shows including Lou Grant, Cagney & Lacey and Mad About You.

I just loved Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and saw it twice on Broadway. Last year the Stratford revival was sublime. Fingers crossed for a Broadway revival soon.   RIP Mr. Lane.

The Official TDF Thread

This is a first. I have never seen Chicago listed on TDF ever. It's up for one show -Thursday 6/4 at 2pm.

City Center’s 2026 Gala Production: IN THE HEIGHTS

darquegk: These are the sort of prices I'd only expect if they said someone like Bad Bunny was playing Usnavi.

And they still hold back all the front center orchestra seats and hype the $230 price for the side orchestra like we should buy with some sense of urgency. ¡Carajo! I am so over this joint. I will wait for the Broadway transfer and experience it in a real theater.

The Lost Boys - Orchestra R 118 - hard to see facial expressions but well centered for all the scenic extras.

THE LOST BOYS Reviews

Thanks to TDF I went to the matinee yesterday and had a good time. It was 90 degrees and it felt like the old days when I would spend many an afternoon at the movies to escape the heat. When I left The Lost Boys, especially having to descend that long escalator at the Palace, it brought back those old movie haunt feelings.

This was worth attending for the scenic design, aerial choreography and to swoon for Ali Louis Bourzgui.  I think I can just listen to him read t

New Billy Crystal one man show inspired by loss of his home in California wildfires to premiere at the Shubert in October

Dan6: I saw the last of five "readings" of this today - actually a full performance, with Billy only occasionally looking at the teleprompters on the stage. It was a thrill to see him workshop this material in such an intimate setting, including a warm Q&A afterwards. Marc Shaiman provided live keyboard accompaniment, as they're apparently testing out the music cues to use during certain scenes. The play, as previously described, is ostensibly about the loss of his
