Bigfoot! at MTC City Center Apr 18 2026, 11:23:20 PM
I laughed a lot and had a big smile on my face the whole time today at Bigfoot! The cast is so perfect. Everyone is terrific. Highly recommend.

Jesse Green: 13 Actors to See Onstage No Matter What They’re In Apr 18 2026, 11:04:58 PM
I so agree with Jesse about Judy Kuhn. Her Fosca was devastating. I think a piece of my soul was left at Classic Stage during that performance.

Can anyone share their 500 point + $108 seat location for The Lost Boys? I am wondering if I may fare better with TDF. Thoughts? TIA.

Well, I’ll Let You Go returns to NYC this spring for 7 weeks only, following its sold-out, award-winning run.
Well, I’ll Let You Go is a “deeply American play about what makes a meaningful life” (New York Times – Critic’s Pick). Set in a small Midwestern town, this “te

DOG DAY AFTERNOON Reviews Apr 16 2026, 04:32:46 PM
MasterThespian 2: Want to check in on Dog Day. Has anyone attended recently? Any further tweaks (or improvements) since the reviews came out? Or is it locked in and it is what it is? Thanks.
I attended last week. I liked Act I which I thought had a good number of laughs. I loved the New Yorkness of it along with the performances by Bernthal, Hecht and Kostroff. The set is terrific as well. But then we get to Act 2 which was just so painful. I actually fe

….not for a his cast.
Also, considering how much this is produced regionally (I recall a really good production in the Berkshires a couple of years ago), is there really much interest?
Yep, I saw the recent La Cage at Barrington so I am good for a while.

BECKY SHAW Reviews Apr 15 2026, 09:58:46 AM
All the performers are terrific and I wished that Emond had more air time but I was disappointed that I rarely laughed during this play. Must be me. I found the second act way better than the first but cannot see me wanting to revisit or to ponder any of these characters in the days ahead.
Also I picked the wrong side and sat in Orch Right G12 which really should be marked partial view because you miss a lot. Like the entire first scene which is played stage left. If you&rsq

THE BALUSTERS Previews Apr 12 2026, 12:07:55 AM
It definitely reminded me of Eureka Day but that’s fine because I loved that play too. I had a great time at The Balusters and will definitely revisit it because I loved the cast and missed a few of the jokes because the dialogue can get so fast. I find David Lindsay-Abaire’s work rewarding.
It was great to see Anika Noni Rose back on stage. She and Richard Thomas do the heavy lifting admirably. Margaret Colin and Mary Louise Burke provide such stage p

ATG probably sells the popcorn in a champagne flute for $35 so that makes it okay. Pinky up you slobs.

BECKY SHAW Previews Apr 4 2026, 06:42:34 PM
I should have grabbed tix when they were on TDF but really wanted to be as close as possible without having to hurt my neck. I ended up going with side orchestra G for $112 using the IamBecky discount code. Looking forward to this.

TheOtherOne2: Melissa25 said: "Can anyone share where the TDF seats are?"
We were mid Orchestra, the furthest two seats in Row L house right. We may have missed some elements of some entrances and exits, but there was certainly nothing going on that we heard but did not see.
(Leg room is not to be found in that theatre no matter what you pay, so an aisle seat would have been nice.)
Thank you!

Lead Actress in a Play 2026 Apr 2 2026, 09:14:15 AM
Sauja: …my top 3 are Manville, Metcalf, and Flood.
For me Flood was so much more memorable in The Counter vs. Liberation. I love her and will be happy if she is nominated.

TexanAddams: Am I the only one really surprised Lesley is like the far away favorite here? Yea she was great but I certainly don't this she was on another level than Coon. I still go back and forth on who I'd vote for but I think I'd lean Coon.
I agree. As time passes, Coon’s performance has stayed with me more. Really looking forward to taking in the stiff competition over at Fallen Angels.
