Crank up the DVR and start watching Michelle and Robert King’s new legal drama Cupertino. I loved the first episode. It’s well written, funny and has a ton of stage actors.Will Brill, Steven Pasquale, Debra Monk, Stephen Kunken, David Aaron Baker, Max Casella and Joe Morton. There will be many more since season one will have 20 episodes!

I cannot imagine this being worse than Beaches and I spent good money on that. I absolutely loved Gotta Dance and saw it at St. Jeans and then at Stage 42. Had it run longer, I probably would have gone a third time. We loved Blake Zelesnikar's performance in that and look forward to his Johnny in Dirty Dancing: The Musical. I am going for the dance which looks upbeat and fun. Oh, I survived A Walk on the Moon too. Maybe I will plan a double and see this after a Downstate matinee.

I am so glad that I purchased my tickets for this on the first day. Last weekend I saw Ashlyn Maddox lead The Snow Goose at Goodspeed. She was excellent and I left saying she is a star. I had no idea that she was cast as Wendla so I am super psyched. I can’t wait to see her perform again.

9/25/26I liked the story of friendship, prejudice, and animal welfare on display during the world premiere of The Snow Goose at the Goodspeed Opera House. The musical reminded me a little of Once, given its folky music and heavy use of strings. When the two main characters are on stage with the goose and its puppeteer, it’s great.
