So I had a last minute call from my mom who is going to visit me the week after Labor Day. It also so happened to be occurring during Broadway Week and I wanted to buy some tickets for me, my brother, her, and her friend. However, when I checked various show tickets' telecharge site, I noticed the ticket prices were more-or-less the same as they were for the week before or week after Broadway Week or at least they are certainly NOT half off. Did they just jack up the prices during Broadway Week so they can advertise they are half off or am I missing something?

Yeah, you have to go to the site Matty provided. They don't make all shows half off... unless you have the code.

That's actually the site I went to. For example, I looked at Loge seats for My Fair Lady during the Friday of Broadway Week and they were still about $97 each before taxes and fees for a specific row and specific set of seats. I thought there would be a place to put in a discount code or to see a credit but there wasn't. That was the 2 for 1 price. Then I checked the Friday before and Friday after for the same loge seats and they were around $127.00. There were other seats for those other weeks that were $97 in the Loge that were not too different from the Broadway Week seats I checked. That's why I was wondering about the prices changing for that one week.
For Once on This Island, tickets are $86 for specific seats I checked. The week before it was $139.00 and the week after Broadway Week, they were $119.00. I know these don't seem like that much of a difference, but I'm sort of taken aback how this deal isn't really 2 for 1. I mean they are if that's what the prices are for that specific week, but it seems a little disingenuous to me.

For discounts to shows on Telecharge, go to telechargeoffers.com and type the code in the box.

That site takes me no where. When you follow, for example, My Fair Lady on the nycgo.com site, you buy tickets from telecharge as if it's normal but the seats you select specifically say "2 for 1 Deal" or whatever it says. Then the tickets you select show the discounted price, which in this case are the prices I itemized above.

its a tourism scam the prices will be the same as the week before or week after.

I just did it. If you go to https://www.telechargeoffers.com/ it says "Please enter your promotional code here" and put BWAYWK or BWAYUP in the box and hit submit and it brings you to the Broadway week 2 for 1 page where you can select a show and search.
Whether or not its a good deal I don't know. I've given up on Broadway week the last few years because the only good deal with good seats I was ever able to find was for Wicked since it's the only time of year a discount is offered for that show.
OOTI already has discount codes with low prices so I wouldn't expect it to be much lower.
