Sorry if already posted, but Playbill.com now has the song list up for this week. I also thought that I could strart a fresh thread for discussions on all 5 performances, instead of one for every day. So lets use this one!
June 21: Avenue Q's "I Wish I Could Go Back To College" June 22: Wonderful Town's "One Hundred Easy Ways" June 23: Little Shop of Horrors' "Feed Me (Git It)" June 24: Caroline, or Change's Tonya Pinkins performs June 25: Bombay Dream's "Shakalaka Baby"
I'm especially excited to see Little Shop---I'm interested in how Fatone will do. Otherwise, I think they all picked good songs--we get to see something different from Avenue Q and Wonderful Town. I just hope Tonya doesn't do "Lott's Wife" again. I want to see her sing something else.
I wonder how Bombay Dreams will perform Shakalaka baby. Will they pre-record it in the theatre to use the water? or just perform without the water. hmm... I don't think Avenue Q chose the BEST song....it is a softer side of the musical, but they coulda gone for a more funnier song i guess.
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
They probably wouldn't let Q do anything more than that. R&K wouldn;t want to hurt their ratings would they? (note my sarcasim) Sorry, but I hate those two. But love Q, "you're gonna have to make a few compromises....for now..."
I wished they'd do "Loud as the Hell you Want," thats my favorite song!
That was great! Loved that! Regis, Kelly, & Gellman puppets!
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

That was so funny! The performance was great, then when they came back and were being Regis, kelly, and Gellman...OMG so great! I wonder if stuff like that is funny to people who don't know the show. Oh well, I loved it :) john does a good impression of Regis!
the performance was great as always. I laughed when i heard "or date my TA" instead of "or F*ck my TA." haha The spoof with the dolls was very cute as well. I wonder how long it took rick to make those.

I pissed myself over the Gellman puppet, and the "model walk." Stephanie and John should have their own morning talk show.
I'm assuming Wicked is not performing because Idina's not here. Not that Eden shouldn't be able to perform on T.V., because from what I understand she's better than Idina in the role, but Idina is the TONY winner, so...
Great performance today! I am suprised nobody mentioned how Stephanie missed her first line in the song. Afterwards she said that the audience was so loud, she could not hear the vamp. She started late, so she sang: "I wish I could go back to college...back then." Poor Stepahnie. I wonder how John was feeling after the long night last night.
I enjoyed the performance today as well. The producers at Regis and Kelly made a very smart decision by having the cast and their puppets impersonate Regis and Kelly. That way, if the song they performed didn't appeal to the talk show's audience, the next segment would. There was something for everyone... Very smart.
"I'm not a catcher! I'm a piano player!" -- Schroeder from "Peanuts" ----- http://www.facebook.com/p/Brandon_Bartlett/500719306
I'm so looking forward to seeing Donna perform tommorow! yay!
"Did you know that if you take the first two vowels in Olive and rearrange them it spells I-Love?"-Spelling Bee
"It's night like this that hotel bars were specifically made." Light In The Piazza
I'm anxious to see how Joey Fatone does as Seymour, and at the same time, I'm deathly afraid of it.

Ok, just making sure...Regis and Kelly is on at 9:00 a.m. eastern time on ABC, right? I have school tomorrow, so I won't be able to see Wonderful Town (), but I will get to see the rest!
