I would have to pick HAIRSPRAY. While it is certainly not my favorite show, it was probably the most fun I've ever had in a theater and it would be great if this celebration of a musical could run forever.You can only watch the same plot play out so many times. But does anyone ever get tired of having fun?

I saw it last week, and I must say, I slept through the first act, and then cried with laughter during the second. Bronson was hysterical.While he was twitching about, he managed to trip and fall, and some of the funniest ad-libbing went on. Hehe.I was mighty disappointed when everyone but Peter Scolari slipped out another door at the end, leaving us hopeless at the stage door, but I won't hold any grudges. Those actors deserved a break after that performance.

I second Susan as Satine. She would look GREAT in those costumes...*drool*Why am I the only one that can't see Hunter Foster as Christian?? I don't know if it's so much his look that I can't see in the role as his voice. It's so naturally nasally and kinda whiney...it's like a default character voice that would NOT work for Christian.Just my two cents.*pokes Little Squirrel*

I have the cast recording and the script, and I am inhumanly disappointed that I missed it when it was Off-Broadway.I'm going to try and persuade my high school to do a production of it. Hopefully I will be successful.

Anybody know anything about this show? I just saw it under "NEW THIS WEEK" at Playbill.com. Sounds interesting. Anyone with info?
