A Hugh Jackman site reports that one of the fans who talked to Hugh at the stage door asked Hugh about his solo album ( which was part of expected new relases announced on another theatre site). He was supposed to have said that it will be released much later in the year.
Something to look forward to!

Love Daphne Rubin Vega's album "Souvenirs", I got a copy in my gift bag from the Rent Reunion concert like 3 summers ago. Idina Menzel's album is fantastic as is Adam Pascal's "Model Prisoner". I also think Anthony Rapp is a gifted song writer and would recomend his album "Look Around" I enjoy Alice Ripley's album "Everything's Fine", and Sherie rene Scott's "Men I've Had". Someone mentioned the track Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters on that CD, if you listen closely you can tell it's Adam Pascal singing the back up vocals and Sherie does background vocals for him on "Model Prisoner", Undiscovered I believe is the track.
I want to get Susan Egan's & Adam Pascal's albums!
Does anyone have Lisa Vroman's album? How is it?
My vote goes to "Simple Songs" by Matt Bogart (could I love this man more?!) and ANYTHING by Anthony Warlow, although Centre Stage is a personal favorite. Listen to this man sing "Music of the Night," and you'll understand why I dislike Michael Crawford.

I have both of Michael Cavanaugh's cds. (piano/lead vocals in Movin' Out) I love them. I'm a huge MC fan and I can never stop listening to them. I think I'm going to buy Adam Pascal's CD. Hear lots about it from my good friend!
broadwaygirl4life, you must buy it. lol... not that I haven't told you enough! we all know that adam is simply a godsend.
Linda Mugleston: It Goes Like It Goes is my favorite solo album from a Broadway actor right now. It's such an eclectic combination of songs (from Gershwin to Sting), and Linda's fabulous voice makes each of them shine in their own way.
Susan Egan's So Far (full of songs that she has performed throughout her career) is also great, as are both of Jessica Molaskey's solo albums (Pentimento is songs of the Depression, A Good Day is songs of the 1950's).
I have Idina Menzel's and its awesome- has so many people have already commented.
It's a mellow, chilled rock type of feel with the most interesting lyrics you will ever find. But still she speaks profoundly from the soul. You can feel it the most in Still I Cant Be Still, the title of the album. Look out for the album on ebay and such. Her new CD Here should be coming out soon. It may be released at the stands in the Gerswhin with Wicked souvineirs. I cant wait!

I third, fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh Emily's CD. Yeah, Gladys... biatch is versatile. :)
I also enjoy all of Audra's CDs... mainly "How Glory Goes", but I LOVE Beat My Dog on her Happy Songs CD... the rest of it is fine.
And I love Christiane Noll's CD "Live At The West Bank Cafe"... girl rocks.

I really like the musical theatre cd's that Michael Ball has done. Really like his new one,A Love Story. Very different sound and it tells a story. His Christmas cd is a favorite holiday cd.

Daphne Rubin Vega has great music! Especially one song called Broken.
Idina Menzel, and Adam Pascal are great, too.
Also, Matt Caplan has some great music.

I'm very fond of my Lauren Kennedy: Songs of JRB album. It's great music sung by a wondeful voice and a passionate actress.
All Linda Eder albums (especially "Broadway My Way") are spectacular!
I TOTALLY was surprised that Lauren Kennedy hadn't made this list, but I just read the post recommending her cd. I really think it is my favorite broadway soloist album. I have Kristin Chenoweth's, Adam Pascal, Alice Ripley, Anthony Rapp, Shere Rene, Matt Bogart, and Jessica Molaskey's solo cds. I really enjoy them all but my favorite is definitely Lauren Kennedy's. I LOVE her voice and love JRB's music. I think one would only be pleased with her cd. Check it out!
