My only exposure to this was the PBS broadcast, so I'm in no position to comment on how it looked unedited. Having said that, I think this show did absolutely no great favors to Broadway. The jokes were lame, the performances spotty, and, much though I have loved Elaine in the past, I think it was a BIG mistake to have her do two songs where she was obviously going up in her lines. Granted, her survival alone in worth commendation, but anyone seeing her for the first time without the backlog of fabulous memories would probably be discouraged from going to a Broadway show altogether. Just my thoughts.
