Oh there you go, I must have missed the newcomers part.
Going over the original list of who was going to be performing, I'm leaning towards it being Michele Blakely who performed with Jen.
Nevermind then.
I missed that one, too.

Regardless, it was amazing to see so many amazingly talented people on one stage. I didn't think I'd ever see Len Cariou perform, so that was a real treat. The orchestrations for Suddenly Seymour were probably my favorite. It was so nice to hear real strings in that song.
Very true, Ry.
personally, I think getting to see all the boys, particularly Chuck, strip and "shower" was a "special surprise" onto itself

> Also, the Playbill article had mentioned a special guest.
> Do we know who this was? I didn't see anyone on stage
> who wasn't in the Playbill.
I didn't see Andrea McArdle in the original announcement.

You are correct, she was never really announced. I totally expected her to sing something from Annie, 'cuz that's just how she is. She did manage to slip in the obligatory Annie reference before her song. That number just felt awkward to me.
I got to talk to her in the elevator after the party though, it wsa cool!

Yeah, and Lauren Pritchard was on instead of Lea Michele.
Great pictures... I am so glad I could be there!
Oh, what I wouldn't give to see Neil Patrick Harris as Joanne... This whole thing sounds pretty phenomenal, and I wish I would have seen it.
What happened to the article with the pics?
i'm pretty sure the special guest star was the unannounced cathy rigby in the opening peter pan skit.

I rushed... they only had maybe 12 tickets or so but after that they sold side orchestra seats for $50. I got there a little before 6 pm and was maybe 25th in line.

I rushed and was second in line. The person in front of me got there at 1:30. I got there a bit after two. All 12 tickets were gone at about 3:20.
The show was amazing, though.
The BWW link doesn't work for me, but Afterelton.com has an article with a lot of pictures from the show: http://www.afterelton.com/theatre/2008/2/broadwaybackwards
Thanks so much for posting that link masb19872, the pictures are great!
Playbill also has some pictures up

Aww, I didn't know Neil and David were a real-life couple.
Sierra sounds wonderful in the short clip they showed of her.
Still can't get over Tituss' performance...
Lainie sounds FIERCE!
Am I crazy or was there a "photo coverage" of this? I cannot find it anywhere on the website...
