Fairly certain it's 'bond'- she does air-quotes when she sings it, bond totally makes sense in that context.

Yes, it is "bond." I find some of the faces that Annaleigh makes during the beginning funny. Look at her right after she finishes her Omigod You Guys solo.

No offense taken, Bal. But it's definitely "bond."
I actually think Annaleigh looks cuter without makeup than with. She's absolutely adorable.
i think she was singing fawn too...it makes more sense.

You're waiting till they're 16 for Rent? :S
I believe the line is actually "budge."
"And as a rule, I do not budge."
I could be wrong, but I couldn't figure it out and listened to it a bunch of times...
I've listened to it a lot as well, and I thought she said, "And as a rule, I do not "bite" ". Which at least makes sense to me with the air quotes. Kate Shindle, such a mystery.
sounded like bond in the show last night.
The first time I heard the song I thought she said "I do not blow" and I spent the rest of the show trying to figure out what the hell it means.
And excuse me for having a slightly sick mind but when you put it with the rest of that verse it sounds as if she is suggesting that she and elle are prostitutes.
"I see no end to what you'll achieve.
That's only if you don't turn and run.
You proved it to me now show everyone what you can do.
And you'll look great in dark blue! (Wink!)
Get back in the game,
Back on the case!
Take a good look at my face.
I'm not a fool
and as a rule
I do not blow..."

"Bond" makes the most sense out of all the candidates because she and Elle are "bonding" at that part of the show. Guess it will be a mystery until July when we get the full lyrics.

I always thought it was "budge".
But listening to the demo, its definitely "bond".
it's bond.
i personally thought it was buy
Bond.
I thought that video was so cute. I can't wait for that recording, I loved the music when I saw it. And the 'air violin' in the clip cracks me up every time.
I love watching everyone's facial expressions *points to avatar*. And has anyone else noticed the conductor? I love watching him, he gets so into it. This video is too addicting.
