I'm traveling to NYC in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone could suggest any Broadway memoribilia shops in the Times Square area. I'd be looking for signed playbills, programs among other things. Thanks for any help.
When are you coming exactly? The Broadway CARES Flea Market is coming up on 9/25 and they have plenty of that stuff.

There's a couple of places like The Drama Book Shop and the Broadway New York Store (and even Colony has a few things), but none of it'll be signed, most of it will be what's currently running or has just recently closed. You may find some older t-Shirts and souvenir brochures but that's gonna be the extent. At least, to my knowledge.
The only place you might find some signed stuff is at Colony, but it will be at a huge premium. Everything at Colony is ridiculously overpriced. You're better off shopping on Broadway Cares website or ebay for that kind of stuff. My personal favorite shop in Time Square is Theatre Circle on 44th across from the Majestic (Phantom of the Opera). It has the typical Broadway souvenirs, but contains a nice little bookshop in the back with lots of scripts and coffe table books.

I'll actually be there the weekend of Sept 10-11, so I'll miss the flea market. Thanks for the advice so far.

There's a gift shop outside the Marquis that I like, but I can't remember the name.
The store under the Marquis is Broadway New York.
Is that the one opposite Starbucks?
Does anyone use J&R for their cast recordings? Is it good value? Are there better shops in New York for cast recordings?
Honestly, you may as well just go to Barnes and Noble for cast recordings now.
