MassOfMen on 5/17/07: "and lastly, I have no vested interest in LB. I have seen the show, I paid my money (a lot of money for that tix) I didn't watch it on a bootleg, yes I saw the flesh and bone of the people up there working their tails off. But do I really have to explain myself to you? are you the judge jury and executioner of Bwyworld.com message board? no.
But I digress, I will leave this subject as I am bored of the rebuttals anyway, and go back to "wasting my time" with the job of building buildings. We have chat boards for architects as well, ya know."
Hmm I second Jenna Leigh Green. Someone mentioned Jennifer Laura Thompson, and while I really enjoy her, I dont think she would do well with a solo album. I dont know she just seems to be better in the context of a show.
NLB and Mary Testa would also be great albums too! And as for Idina Menzel and Sherie Rene Scott, yes they both have CD's out, it would be nice if Sherie did another one at some point. Idina signed a record deal a few months ago with Warner Brothers and is actually going to be working on another one soon.
Seriously though, on Maureen McGovern, if you haven't heard her albums you should, they are all amazine, though my favorite is her extraordinary transitional album "Another Woman In Love". It is brilliant!
Yes, we do need a third vampire musical.--Little Sally, Gypsy of the Year 2005.
I second your Daniel Reichard (Damn can that boy sing), and raise you a John Lloyd Young. Regular voice though. Leave that falsetto with Jersey Boys. Much as I love it, I want to hear his normal singing voice on it.

If Percy Blakeney were in Les Mis....
Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)
Sutton Foster! Yes she was supposedly working on one, and I heard that from a very realiable source (her musical director), but that was quite some time ago and I'm still waiting. Anyway, she'll be doing gigs at Joe's Pub and at Feinstein's in the near future, maybe something will come of it.
Have to agree with Jesse L. Martin. I think his voice is terrific and I'd definitely love to hear more of it. Brian Stokes Mitchell - yes! Keli O'Hara, definitely. Daniel Davis also has a terrific voice.
"And the postman sighed as he scratched his head, you really rather thought she ought to be dead..."
I'm in shock that only 2 other people mentioned Terrence Mann. This man has a lifetime more of talent and experience than a majority of the people mentioned. Eden Espinosa? Christina Applegate? Cheyenne Jackson? No offense to those craving their solo CDs, but let those performers originate a role in a successful show on Broadway before giving them a solo CD.
I'm all about the TMann now cuz of the wonder that is "Rags!"
Question: Will Esparza win for The Homecoming?
BobbyBubby: I hope so. If only for the mental health of many people on this board.
Hugh Panaro and Jenna Leigh Green. I heard somewhere that Hugh Panaro actually does have a solo album, but I can't find it anywhere, so the person is probably misinformed.
