Reading the album thread got me to thinking about which performers SHOULD have solo recordings. Here's my running list:

Julia Murney
Carolee Carmello
Mary Testa
Kelli O'Hara
Victoria Clark

Yes to the first three, I'm impartial about the last two. Although I'd probs buy them if they released them. Do you particularly recommend any solo albums because I'm on a purchasing mission at the mo.

I completely agree with Julia Murney and Carolee Carmello...I know she already as one, but would also like to see Judy Kuhn record another CD, like maybe her show at Joe's Pub. For the guys, without a doubt...Norm Lewis...My other choice, Michael Rupert is recording one as we speak and it seems like I've waited forever for that, so maybe the rest will jump on the wagon and follow his example...

As attached as I am to Orfeh's way old Or-N-More album I'd like something from this decade. Trailer Park will do well to tide me over but I want a full length Orfeh album NOW!
