It hasn't been the "It" issue for a couple of years. It's now the "Must List" issue.

Are we talkin' 2006/07 or the current 05/06 season?
Because I'd consider all the ones Munk listed last season's list...

As for the up-coming season:

"IT" Actress: Christine Ebersole
"IT" Actor: Martin Short (if his show doesn't flop, NYC will play up having a veteran actor back on-stage like Crystal)
"IT" Newcomer: Ashley Brown (though it's not her debut, she'll own as Poppins)
"IT" Legend: Sutton can still hold that

The issue just came out. No newcomers. Their theater picks include Christine Ebersole, Brian O'Byrne, Chorus Line, Julianne Moore. Oh I guess she's a newcomer to Broadway.

I believe they recognized John Lloyd Young in their year-end issue of 2005.
