COME FROM AWAY will be filmed; aiming September 2021 release

Let me just add my name to the list of people singing the praises of the film. I was going to book the tour of this right before things shut down so I am glad to finally see the staged version. So glad they went with this as opposed to a film staged version because the use of theatrics in this show is a great reminded of the power of theater staging.

COME FROM AWAY was the first show I saw after the HELLO, DOLLY! revival closed. After seeing nothing but DOLLY! for a year and a half (sometimes twice a day) I felt odd walking into a theater that wasn't the Shubert. I felt odder seeing a show that wasn't DOLLY! Oh, I enjoyed CFA well enough but it didn't put me in the state of euphoria that DOLLY! did/does. I guess I should catch this pro shot so I can be a bit more objective.

Couldn't agree more, they really made the right choice. Like Rent: Live on Broadway was a billion times better than the film could ever be.

I hope this trend continues and we treated to more pro-shots. They are deeply appreciated by the theater loving community.
