Broadway's Lost Treasures

I just bought the DVD of "Broadway's Lost Treasures." Does anyone know when these scenes were filmed? Are they Tony Broadcasts? Are they filmed in the theatres where the shows took place? Does anyone know? I'm wondering because some of them are on full sets and some are just on a blank stage.

You know I really don't know. I saw a bit of it on PBS and most of them seemed to be Tony performances, in fact that's what they are supposed to be! But the CATS performance is full stage (which is awesome!) and some others to. So maybe they were pre filmed for the Tonys? I don't know.... I'm just mad that PHANTOM was not included....

Sounds cool...I really liked the look of the Gershwin though...big but very beautiful i thought.
