The Sweeney discourse got me thinking that it seems like we have an EXTREMELY limited pool of known-quantity bass-baritones in their 20s-to-mid-30s with that "classic" Broadway sound in New York and on the West End.
Obviously there are people like Joshua Henry, Josh Groban, and Jordan Donica (though 2/3 of those are older than my arbitrary criteria, and we could split hairs of whether or not they're real bass-baritones but we shouldn't). Sean Bell (HARMONY) and Ben Crawford could also be on the list.
Who else? Who's WOW'd you recently or should be on our radars?
Thinking of the type of people who could kill "If Ever I Would Leave You" or "Soliloquy" or "This Nearly Was Mine" or "Where Is The Life That Late I Led."
