Is there any Broadway star that you love that could not play the role in the show but you would love to hear sing a certain song from the show? Am I making any sense?
Example.
I'd love to hear Adam Pascal and Heather Headley sing "All I Ask of You", but they would never play the roles in the real show.
Get it? Got it? Yay!

Patti LuPone singing "Stars and the Moon" -- I think she would be amazing on that song.

Mandy Patinkin sing "Rose's Turn" I don't think any producer would allow it because he would blow the roof off the theater and the audience would land in Hoboken New Jersey.
I would have liked to have heard Georgia Brown sing "Losing My Mind"
While not a Broadway star, I have always wanted to hear Tina Turner sing "I'm Still Here"

We all have our favorites but there is not a role, a song, a title in public office, that you don't deem Alice the only worthy choice for.

no i'm not related to her.
i've seen her live three times and she's just a ball of energy. sh'es my favorite performer, and no, i dont think she fits every role, but when i think sh'es good for a role i go for it and push it. big deal, actually, it's not a big deal. really it isn't. stop making me out to be a psycho or something. :)

And she has played it before, but I would have loved to have seen Louise Pitre do an english version of Les Miz.
