I had a feeling that The Outsiders would’ve announced as a late addition for the Ahmanson, like &Juliet did, the reason for this is because their current season is appalling, so thought they pull a rabbit out of the hat - but I was very wrong. It just means that the Center Theater Group has to look harder for shows and unearth gems like Everyone is Talking About Jamie, which I loved, period. I saw

Possibly so!

But I’m a little torn, because their subscriber base also leans older, which isn’t a problem with Jersey Boys or Just in Time, but definitely makes the crowd for Oh, Mary! a little less raucous.

I figured she just hated karaoke because she would have to read the words on the screen.

BC/EFA Purchases You Wish You Made

I’m so sad to have missed out on one of the Phantom candles they were selling a couple years ago. I did get a piece of the Majestic floor, but dang I wanted that candle!!

I just got a text from Broadway in Hollywood announcing their announcement…

March 5th

Hopefully they’ve snagged something awesome to keep us waiting so much longer than most of the nation.

GO SEE & JULIET!!! (Review)

Easily the 2nd worst Broadway show I’ve ever seen; only surpassed by “Contact”.

“Mamma Mia!” made jukebox musicals look so effortless…

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!  Thanks for the tip!

That’s my husband’s all time favorite movie and I love Marc and Bette! Every now and then, it’s nice to live in LA!

Hamilton and Slavery - Unrevivable?

OP - I am the first to side with anyone calling these boards reactive and sometimes toxic.

That being said; you posed the question. From what I read, a vast majority of the answers all seemed to be based on fact or based on not being able to accurately predict the theatre market 25 years from now. I didn’t see a “woke” mob descending on you.

If you’re going to pose a click-bait question like your title suggests; you should expect

"bickering"? "the hostess with the not-mostess really dropped the ball"?

If there's a point to your post, it's too cryptic for me...indecision

God, some of you are exhausting… Can you just be nice??

My point is I haven’t seen a single review of the actual telecast, which makes me happy. That idiot thought people his NASCAR crowd would tune in to a performing arts show just to see him.

Hopefully that clears it up for you…

Kennedy Center Honors

Apparently Kelsey Grammer and Laura Osnes we’re the Broadway “stars” to salute Michael Crawford.

I love Phantom and Michael is a huge part of that love, and this bull**** awards ceremony breaks my heart.

If I still had Spotify, I’d block his music from being played; but perhaps it’s me that was played all along.

THE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES with Kristin Chenowith & F. Murray Abraham to open at St. James in November
 Sep 3 2025, 04:59:09 PM

The set has been the thing most interesting part of this show for me; but the Sherie announcement changed all of that.

Sherie is very popular with millennial Broadway fans, but obviously nowhere near Chenowith in terms of name recognition. I hope and think Sherie’s shows will sell very well!

Personally, I don't see Beanie being in the same conversation, because I feel like she was trying to give a good performance. Billy Porter just seems to be o

I think the negative reaction is more disappointment that Muppet’s Christmas Carol is not happening, and a Las Vegas magic act is taking its place.
