Is this increasing? A friend in Australia just saw Roger Bart last week in Sydney and said he appeared to be phoning it in, but that the audience seemed excited by having a Broadway star there... I also clocked the Beetlejuice tour w/ Andy Karl though it looks like a leg was canceled for low ticket sales? And they're getting Will Swenson next in Beautiful Noise.
Is this an increasing trend?

The Singapore leg of Bettlejuice was canceled, Brisbane is still going ahead.
Back to the future is closing early and the tour has been canned due to poor sales in Sydney. it’s not the biggest of trends, to bring overseas talent in.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.

Andy Karl, I believe, is more or less based in Australia these days because that’s where his fiancé (Elise McCann) works as a stage actress.
Broadway/American talent going to Australia may seem like a boom at the moment because there are two prominent performers there right now, but it’s no more or less than normal.
