This year was the first year Playbill didn't sponsor BroadwayCon and at times the lack of presence was felt (but not by much). Does anyone know why Playbill opted not to be the big sponsor this year?
Thanks

All attendees would know about them and use their services. When I have worked for companies that sponsor conferences it is done with the understanding/hope that it is going to lead to more clients or customers.

How does Playbill make money anyway, besides ad revenue?
