I'd like to start a BroadwayWorld Idol.
I'd like one judges to help me out. (Please PM asap if interested) I'd also like someone to design a logo. (Please PM me asap)

If you'd like to audition for one of the 16 semi-finalists, PM me with a video of you singing a musical theatre song by November 18th. You may perform with karaoke, a backing tracking, accompanist, or a capella.

The semi-finalists will be announced on December 1st and our season with begin on December 9th.

It was really fun on the forum I did it on. Everyone upload each weeks performances onto putfile and the voting was done with polldaddy.

There actually was a BWW Idol a few years ago.

Do a search on the OT board. There were meltdowns and hissy fits. And not even by the contestants. At one point the person that was running it had the thread deleted, then turned over the running of it to someone else. Fun times!

I think its a great idea. If it goes through, I will submit something. Just an idea, maybe you can theme each week, just like they do on American Idol, so one week it'd be Sondheim and the next week would be the 90s musicals. Or something like that.
