I just purchased it. Clicked on the thread with the intentions not to buy, saw the highlights, had to own it.

Can someone tell me who wrote "Never Never Land"?

Can anyone tell me in what year he wrote the song "Never Never Land"? I am shocked I never heard of it before. Has any singer recorded it to a CD album of their's?

I *think* Never Never Land is very new; from what I recall of my exchanges with Scott, Standing Ovations was the first time the song was performed in public. The song is another in the growing list of knockout tunes for his musical, "Piece". One other song from that show ("Home", sung by Shoshana Bean) is being used in a Olympics commercial and can be heard almost exclusively on BWW.com radio. plug, plug, plug.

I would like to contact Mr. Alan about the song. Does he have a website (searched, but no luck).

That's easy... and I just realized that you can listen to Stephanie J. Block's entire rendition of "Never Never Land" in his 'Music' section. Have a listen, and drop him a note!

Actually, Scott just reported on his website that the song will not be used for the Olympics - but he's got a bunch of other things in the works...

It shouldn't take long. BroadwayBeat who is handled the production and the duping will be taking of the first round of orders at the top of next week and those should be shipped immediately....

Pure unadulterated nosiness.... can we find out how this does? I'd like to hope this will become an annual event and this is a great way for those who can't attend to feel they are part of our moist incestuous little world but do not want Rob or the site to go into the hole for it.

Broadway Beat generously donated their taping time as well, so 100% of proceeds can go to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. I can also proudly report that the event raised over $5,000, a number that's going up as each and every DVD order comes in.
