She's so pretty, she will make a wonderful Belle! I had the pleasure of really meeting her last Friday (I had met her briefly once before) and she is so very excited. She deserves this, and I can't wait to see her. Brooke, with a little bit of fairy dust, dreams do come true!

You look absolutely Beautiful Brooke. You will be a Great Belle.
She's so pretty! I think she'll be a great Belle (and thank god Belle's brunette again!!).
I would love to see the show with her in it.

I'm really happy someone else is taking over. I have a free ticket that I can use whenever I want, but I didn't want to see CCR. I don't know why ... just not a big Even Stevens fan I guess.

Oh my gosh, I almost cried when I looked at this. She looks so beautiful. I'm so incredibly happy for her. The fact that she has beauty inside and out just make her all the more wonderful. I cannot wait to see you as Belle, Brooke! Break a leg tomorrow night! We love you! Dreams do, indeed, come true. -Penny

The website is up in it's beginning stages.
I wouldn't mind seeing the show again if it had the original set and staging. I saw the national tour a couple of years ago and it was AWFUL.

The tour you saw, which ran 2000-2003 in a lot of relatively small venues, probably had the much-scaled-down version of the set. The Broadway show at the Lunt is scenically identical to the first national tour that ran in the bigger houses from 1995-1999, and except for one special effect in Be Our Guest, you may not even notice the set differences that have been made since the show moved from Palace.
The cast was scaled down by four onstage ensemble members, so the staging was adjusted accordingly, but again, you may not even notice.

1.) The last tour was a discrace.
2.) I most certainly can see the differences between the Palace and Lunt stagings. Someof the changes were just STUPID and could have done on the same budget with the same materials and been much more effective -- example.. the ballroom.
What about the Wolves? Do they have the dancing people-wolves at the Lunt?

yes, they scrapped the mechanical, cool wolves and have the "refugee from the non-equity tour of Cats" wolves.
Ugh! That was one of the dumbest decisions they made. I hate the dancing wolf-people. It was like the devil-boys in J&H. I couldn't figure out who thought that was a good idea.

exaclty.....
my gripe about the ballroom is that the original ballroom set, the massive set piece, was GORGEOUS. The painted drop they have now is HIDEOUS. They should have just taken the original design and translated it into a backdrop painted to look like that original set......
