Yes it is, and apparently it was recorded live in front of a group of fans. I'll probably get my showtunejunkie card revoked for admitting this, but I've reserved my copy already:)

Cool Can't wait for it to come out. It should be great. Do you know if it is the same recordings that are on the website? There are aditional songs though.

I will buy it next Tuesday when I come home from work. I'm glad the CD is being released so soon after the show opened.

I don't think its the same recordings on the website. I think they recorded it completely, so the demo/things from the site should have been redone:)

The CD is going to contain 85%-95% of the show including dialogs.
And yes, they recorded the COMPLETE show.

I'm seeing the show December 4th and I'm hoping that the CD is available at the theatre. Cast recordings are generally available at the theatre a while before they are officially released...or so I've heard.

3 days prior? I'd imagine it'll be available.

I don't much like the live aspect of it, is the immediate audience reaction THAT vital to the music (a la Cabaret)?

I'll buy it with any gift cards I get for Christmas lol
