Brooklyn Tour

I was wondering if anyone else outside of NYC is having the tour of Brooklyn come to their city? Saint Paul, MN just announced today with dates of June 20-25, 2006.

A woman much smarter that I once said something about Brooklyn the burrough...."There are only two reasons to go to Brooklyn-You live in Brooklyn, or are f[expletive deleted]ing someone who lives in Brooklyn." The same goes for the show....There are only two reasons to go to see Brooklyn the Musical-You're in it, or your f'ing someone in it.

That's a good thing for "Brooklyn" I guess...

my uncle was a part of the creation of the play and had told me about a month ago that as long as the show stayed open through september, they would be able to take it on tour (otherwise there just wouldn't be enough investor interest).

i guess this means that it's sticking around on broadway for a few more months (at least).

If it comes to Boston, I'll see it, to fully form my own opinion. I am surprised it is touring, however.

Believe me, I was as surprised as anyone when I was handed that show to research for our season announcement meeting. I hadn't heard any talk of a tour until then. That's why I was curious if any other markets have it on their schedules. What really is surprising is we only get it for 1 week, when normally we get shows for 2.
