YAY! :) http://www.BrooklynOnTour.com
Jeff Calhoun, who helmed the Broadway production of Brooklyn—The Musical, will direct the show's upcoming national tour as well.
Calhoun will also co-produce the tour with Mark Mariani and John McDaniel. The latter will serve as musical supervisor, as he did for the Broadway production.
Calhoun told Playbill.com that the tour will launch at the Bushnell Center in Hartford, CT, on June 13. No casting has been announced, although the director hopes some of the Broadway company will be part of the tour. Additonal venues and dates will be announced shortly.
The show itself will not be changed for the tour. "It doesn't have to be refined," Calhoun said, "because it's already 90 minutes without an intermission and I think very touring-friendly."

So did Seussical, but yet the tour was very sucessful, I think the people in the Red states will like this, as funny as it sounds i really think that it is true.
I agree, I think that a less high brow audience will take well to Brooklyn. I hope it does well in its tour. I am looking forward to seeing it in Hartford. How weird to see it with other performers.

If Eden tours with it - which I doubt she will, Id be there in a heartbeat. Granted, I'll be there anyways. I wanna see this show, then i can form my own opinion on its "suckyness."
