Hi, I hope somebody can answer this query!
Prices for right and left mezzanine seats, even towards the front in rows B and C, are noticeably cheaper.
But it isn't clear from the seating chart WHY they're cheaper - you don't appear to be that much further away from the stage than if you're sat in the centre (unless it's a very stylised seating chart). In fact, they're cheaper than row G centre, which I'd have down as a worse view because it's further from the stage.
Is view very restricted towards the sides of the front mezzanine?
I don't know the specific answer to your question, but I generally choose the most centered seats possible, even if they're further up. Or at least I try to avoid being too far left or right. You definitely miss seeing part of the set and may well miss some of the action on "your" side of the stage. The only time I would choose the seats you described is when there's nothing else available. That's what happened the first of many times now that I've seen The Producers. But in that case, any seat was well worth it.
Thanks very much, that was really helpful. I decided to go ahead and buy some (ridiculously priced) Odd Couple tickets for great seats, rather than hold out on the off-chance of something decent turning up at face-value in July.
Of course, NOW I'll have to get there by swimming the Atlantic because I can no longer afford the flight, but I'll worry about that nearer the time.... :o
