re: Brookyln: The Musical

Although I usually can't stand when people whine about using the search feature, I think it would be wise to use it for a question like this because a majority of the people on this board feel the need to rip people apart if they even mention the show...now imagine what it's like when someone says they actually like it, it's really not pretty and almost always (ok, always)causes some kind of disagreement.

re: Brookyln: The Musical

Tiny Toon, how many shows have you seen?? (I totally don't mean that in a sarcastic, bitchy way at all! seriously :))

and don't rip on her/his name...that's not cool guys..
and all that I could do because of you was talk of love...

re: Brookyln: The Musical

My own personal thought was that the cast was the only thing that made it worth listening to and now with a new cast for the tour, I have no idea. I bought the CR without knowing much about it because I'm an Eden fan and she, as well as the other principal cast members sounded great but the lyrics and plot weren't very memorable. I didn't detest it, but it really didn't make me want to listen to it a second time. More of a "oh it was OK. *move on in life*" feeling if that makes any sense. Anyways, but its your own personal opinion I guess.

And welcome to the boards, love the screenname. Seriously, I do. re: Brookyln: The Musical Sporks have a soft spot in my heart.

re: Brookyln: The Musical

Wow, people suddenly jumping down SporkGoddess's throat really need to calm down. SG was simply inquiring about something that seemed like it could be worth looking into, but also possibly not. Viciousness was not required, and ljay - completely unnecessary, I'm singling yours out because it seemed like the worst offender. And for god's sake, people, no "I pray for you" bullsh*t.

Sorry I got worked up, I just really hate it when people do stuff like that.

re: Brookyln: The Musical

I saw BKLYN twice and I LOVED it. It is one of my favorite musicals. I would very much reccommend seeing the touring company if it comes to your area.

re: Brookyln: The Musical

I'm a girl, people. Hence the "goddess" part.

Pinguin: Thank you re: Brookyln: The Musical I, in turn, love your avatar. Piazza and Passion have many similarities... even the name Clara! It amuses me, because neither were done on purpose (as I'm sure you know, both were based on books)... so, talk about a crazy coincidence, eh?

Anyway, we can let this thread die now. I've found out what I wanted to know and in the process made a great first impression. e_e

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!
