It seems like William Friedkin's film of this Tracy Letts play is garnering a lot of positive buzz. Most of the critics who've seen it are pretty much raving about it. Many say that Michael Shannon and Ashley Judd will get Oscar nominations. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I loved it off-broadway... but can't imagine they could capture the same intensity on film... but I guess William Friedkin used to know a thing or two about intensity on film... so... maybe.

There were a few people talking about the film in the lobby following the show. Sadly, many of them said they were not liking the movie adaptation as much as the staged version. Go figure
