Kritzer, a talented performer, doesn't get enough to do in Catered Affair to warrant a nomination.
Fleetwood should be in the featured category, as they're all below the title. I'm gonna guess the producers will petition Stewart as the only leading performer from the show. He'll easily take Best Actor in a Play, unless Laurence Fishburne walks on water in Thurgood.
Fleetwood, assuming she's nominated in Featured, is a shoo-in for that award. If for some reason, she's nominated in Leading, that category gets a lot more interesting (and crowded). Right now, I still think it will go to Amy Morton, but we'll have to wait and see about Christine Baranski and the cast of Top Girls.

i agree he does have a lot of tonys but YF is a really enjoyable funny fun show. I understand it not being best musical or score or book. But the design is fantastic. And besides Chris I would love for Sutton and Andrea to get nominated. I know sutton wont but thats my crush on her speaking. As for Andrea I thought her performance was hilarious. For me the laughs came from Christopher and Andrea and i hope they get recognized.
Fleetwood gets the last bow in Macbeth. Not that that really means anything but I thought it should be noted that she might be put into the Leading Actress Category.
Someone asked earlier in the thread about Eve Best... she's Leading.

I'm curious BWAYEnthusist, exactly what officially constitutes "Book"??
Is it all non musical verbiage, storyline, plot....what, exactly? Even though I'm an unabashed fan of PS, it does NOT have alot of purely spoken, non musical scenes, however, Stew's sung through "poetry" seems to constitute quite a "book" in that the imagery that is conjured up by his jam packed lyrics/semi-spoken words, are totally integral to the piece, and cannot really be "separated". Just my thoughts, but does anyone know what the "rules" for BOOK are, according to the TONY committee?
