It's for this musical festival... there was a post on it the other day and an article on this site too.
It's only going to be on 5 days, all gerneal admission, also all unavailable as well. I think there are like 8 shows or something all together...
I hope it'll be good, I'm excited for it just because I enjoyed the movie, and glad I can get to see it.
Just wanna get good seats, so need to know when to get there.

Posted: 9/5/05 at 2:56pmthey only sell 99 tickets, so really, there won't be a bad seat. there's likely going to be another show ending soon before the show you're seeing begins, so getting there ridiculously early will probably just cause more chaos in the lobby. the doors open a half hour before it starts, so i'll be getting to the theatre around that time.

ok thanks... only 99 being there makes me feel better, lots better actually.
I guess maybe getting there around 12ish wouldn't hurt? 30 minutes before doors open. Think that would be good?
Hope I like the show... we'll see.

Hey guys! The theatres are really small and at most have 99 seats so there's not a bad seat in the house.
Also, our venue directors and front of house staff are going to be very busy loading one show in while another is moving out and will have a lot to deal with, so I would recommend not showing up hours in advance of the start time - it will only add to the confusion.
I hope you have a great time...Cheerleader is completely sold out so I'm happy you were able to get a ticket! Enjoy!

I saw Caligula several times at this theatre last year and sat in a different area everytime. There's not a bad seat at all. Unless they did something with the ventilation system, I'd pray for cool days/nights, though.
Missed out on getting tickets to this. So mad at myself.

Posted: 9/7/05 at 12:07amI wish that I had been able to get seats. I bought a ticket for the show on Monday at 1 but I don't know if I can go. I wanted to see it on a weekend but they were all sold out by the time I bought mine:/

#13re: But I'm a Cheerleader...
Posted: 9/14/05 at 10:59amI went to last night's performance. I think they only opened the doors around 7:40pm for the 8pm show. And even then, we had to crowd in the tiny lobby for a while before the house opened. I definitely wouldn't get there too much ahead of time.

Yeah, I showed at about 7:50 and the line was outside the building but, given that it's such a small house, my seats were still pretty good.

I showed up last night about 7:35 and we had to wait outside then inside. So definately do not come more than half hour before. We were towards the front of the line and got front row center seats.
If this show is in indication of what's to come for the rest of the festival, I am thrilled. The show is amazing. The cast, the music, the book, the costumes. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed something so much. If this doesn't make it to off-broadway, I would be very surprised.
